Xochimilco

This is a place we had not visited in the past. Turns out that my tia Josefina & my cousins only leave 10-15 minutes away. So they joined us and on our way we went to Xochimilco. We brought food and drinks and spent about 4 hrs on the boat. We had a band come aboard our boat and played away, but the best part, as always, was convincing my dad to sing..

Miriam's QuinceaƱera

Miriam's Quince was one of the main reason's why we decided to take our vacation in July. Almost everyone in the family would be there and this would be a great opportunity for them to meet Andy and Andrew.

Guanajuato, Mexico

This is part of our trip to Mexico last week. Our first stop was Guanajuato, Mexico, where I was born. We still have family that lives there, including my grandparents.
The weather was perfect. During the day it was on the upper 70's lower 80's and at night it would drop to the 60's.
In Jerecuaro, Gto.
Andrew and Andy in Ojo de Agua. This is the first visit for both.

Singing away / Cantando

Andrew is not the only one that has fun with this keyboard, Andy and I enjoy it as well. But the best part is having Andrew play it and sing away...

4th of July / 4 de Julio

This year our friend Kelli invited us to her family pool party. Our day started with her at the pool and the water slide and it ended with our family, enjoying a wonderful dinner and watching the fireworks! We hope you had a great 4th of July!

What a day / Que dia

Andrew loves to play, help out and have fun!
From playing soccer...
To helping dad...
(For the record, the lawnmower was off!)
To having fun in the water!

Treated Well...

Nooooo.. He is not having Shushi yet!!!
A few weeks ago, we decided to go out and have some Shushi.... Well, our little man was treated very well. The Chef sent Andrew some crab meat, eggs, and a cut orange. Imagine that!!

Our Godchildren

Our Godchildren: Theo and Phoebe
Theo just turned one in June and we got to celebrate his birthday with him. We finally had our camera with us so we could not miss this opportunity to get a picture of both..
