First Mile Stone!

Just turned Six Months....
What a mile stone for Andrew, he is now six months. It's such a joy to see all the new things he is doing. He loves to talk so watch out!!
Believe it or not it's nice and sunny in November

Andy's Birthday

Last weekend we got to celebrate Andy's Birthday. After Mass on Sunday we headed to the Cheesecake factory for what he thought was brunch with our friends Carmen and Ian, what he did not know was that his family was going to be there waiting for him aswell. He had no idea that he was in for a little surprise. He really enjoyed it and so did we..

Everyone posing
(Sorry Ian and I got cut off the pic)

Listening to an audio card

The day after his brunch I took him to dinner. I asked our waiter to bring a Flan with a candle for him and the waiter came back with a cake and lit up a chip as they were out of candles. So Andy ended up blowing on a chip and eating chocolate cake.. What a way to finish the day...

Veteran's Day!

For the first time ever, our company threw a Veteran's luncheon. This was very exciting as we got to meet all the Vet's that work with us. I found out that there are 60 veterans out of about 1,000 plus employees and out of these 60 only six(6) are females.
The Marines at the luncheon:
Kyle (E-4), General Dake, Miguel(E-4) and me(E-5)

Halloween....

Look at our little fireman!
Andrew's first Halloween
We decided to take our little chief to visit the fire department and took some pictures. All Andrew wanted to do was to play with the fire hose so we were not able to take too many pictures.
(Mare took this picture, nice job!)

Home made tortillas / Tortillas echas en casa

Mare had a great idea last week, she wanted to learn how to make something easy and fun during my mom's stay. So this week, my mom taught Mare and I how to make home made tortillas. We learned something I should have learned many many years ago. We took turns preparing the tortillas but my mom did most of work. Andrew got to try them and the best part was that abuelita (grandma) Marisa made it. Now, I have a press at home so have no more excuses why I should not be able to prepare them my self.
