Four Months!

Yes, believe it or not, we are four months pregnant!!! We(the baby and I) are both growing way too fast if I may say.
Time is flying by and it's great. I am out of the first trimester and finally without morning sickness. It has been almost three weeks and counting without the nausea and all the things that come along with it... So both Andrew and I are happy!
A few days ago, we visited our doctor for our monthly check-up and they have told us that on January 15th we will find out the sex of our baby. We are very anxious to know!

Charley.......Our big black monster

Our little puppy is about to turn 4 years old!!!!
Charley has been such a good dog, specially after I moved in. I thought it was going to be hard for him to get used to the changes in the house, but he has been doing great. I still remember when I started to learn the commands Andrew had taught him since he was a little puppy. I sometimes wish I could carry him, but he is now 100 lbs and believe it or not, when he stands he is taller than me!
Now a days, he has realized that Andrew leaves the house early to workout and waits right by the door just to see if Andrew is going to take him with him.

Time to celebrate!

JD, April and Diego
Over Thanksgiving weekend, my brother got Married. We got together for Thanksgiving on Thursday and on Saturday, it was Wedding day for John and April. It was a really busy weekend but being with family is always worth it.....

The wedding was celebrated in McCook which is almost two hours from Lexington, where my partents live. Everyone in my family ended up being part of the wedding party. My sister and brother-in-law got to give J.D.(John) and April, the traditional Arras and Andrew and I sponsored them with the Lazo. The ceremony was beautiful and JD and April surprised my parents with a Bilingual Mass.

Wow, they grow fast....

Andrew and I got to go up to Nebraska to visit my family for Thanksgiving and we had a great time. The entire Guerrero family was visiting and got to see my two nieces and nephew. Maia, who is now 5 yrs old, Paris, is 16 months, and Diego is also 16 months. Paris is only one day older than Diego.......
It was nice to be home and finally eat anything I wanted, now that I have no morning sickness I am free to eat anything I want(eventhough I shouldn't). My mom cooked every meal and my sister and I tagged along with her in the kitchen to try to learn. I hope that one day I can cook like her!

Andrew's B-Day!

Christmas, in November .......
Well, looks like in some places they choose to decorate a little early.
Anyhow, Andrew just celebrated his 35th birthday and we decited to stay at the Gaylord Texan. We had dinner and got to visit the new club 'The Glass Cactus'. I recomend you check it out, they do concerts so you never know who will be there!
We had an opportunity to walk around the Hotel and see their new Christmas decorations and took advantage of them, as you can see, we did take a few pictures! We had a good time and can't wait to go back and see the Ice show.

Our journey as parent's to be

Almost three months ago we found out that we are expecting our first baby. Andrew and I are very excited and are looking forward to being parents. I must let you know that the first 13 weeks were not the greatest as I had really bad morning sickness but I tell you that I am doing much better today and the morning sickness is gone!!!

Our friends ask us for updates about me and the baby and was thinking of a way of keeping them up to date. So I remembered that our dear friend Carmen had told us about a blog spot. I thought about starting one a while back but never got to it. But today, I am... Let's hope I can keep up with it....
